What a difference a year makes…..a year ago at this time, I was on vacation in Breckenridge with my family, teaching our youngest son Christopher to ski and catching up with old friends when I got the call from my Doctor that there was a “suspicious shadow” on my mammogram.  As I pushed the terrible fear out of my mind to try to enjoy the last days of my vacation, I had no idea what was in store for me and what a difficult year was ahead for me.  I’m happy to report that one year later, my mammogram and sonogram are clear.  As I sat in my Surgeon’s office with tears streaming down my face yesterday, I was so very relieved, and so very grateful….to God, the Universe and all my family and friends who have been with me on this journey. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
